Wheelchair Accessible  Hearing Devices 

Riverside Theatres Parramatta is a complex comprising various theatre spaces. It is located just outside the heart of Parramatta CBD and has been used as a venue by Sydney Festival for many years.

Riverside Theatre
is the largest venue within the complex, over three levels. All seats offer clear and unobstructed views of the stage, unless otherwise advised. 

Lennox Theatre
is a small multi-use performance space within the Theatre complex. All seating is elevated above the performance space.

The Courtyard
is a flexible open-air space is covered by roofing sails and is used throughout the year for outdoor performances. The space includes a licensed bar.

Events at Riverside Theatres

Access
Riverside Theatres has level access and space for wheelchairs in all venues. Accessible bathrooms are also available and limited paid parking is available at the venue for patrons with a current disability parking permit.


Riverside Theatres has 'Listen' hearing technology in all theatres to assist patrons who are hearing impaired. This system is adaptable for people with all types of hearing loss.

Restaurants and Bars
Riverside Theatres operate a licensed bar in the foyer of the centre, which is open one hour prior to performances. There are also several restaurants in the area. Patrons should visit the venue website for further information.


Public Transport
Train - Parramatta is linked in all directions by train. Catch the Western line direct from Wynyard, Town Hall or Central, or if travelling on Northern or Southern lines, change at Strathfield. The theatre is approximately an 8 minute walk from the station. Exit from Darcy Street, turn right in to Church Street and follow it up to the theatre which is just on the other side of the Lennox Bridge.


Ferry - It is a 50 minute ride by Rivercat Ferry from Circular Quay. The Parramatta ferry terminal is a 5 minute walk from the theatre. Follow the pathway along the river from the terminal.


Bus - all major bus services are available in Parramatta. Take routes L20 or 520 from Circular Quay. The nearest bus stop to Riverside Theatres is in front of the Brandsmart Shopping Centre.

Car Parking
The closest parking stations are located at Erby Place (just off Phillip street and opposite Crowne Plaza Hotel), 1 Horwood Place and 30 George Street.
