The Wharf is Sydney Theatre Company's home base located at Pier 4/5, Hickson Road, Walsh Bay, and comprises of two distinct theatres - Wharf 1 and Wharf 2. Located at the Northern End, Wharf 1 seats up to 324 persons and offers a state-of-the-art home for an impressive array of international and performing arts.

Access
Wheelchair access is via the Sydney Theatre's main entrance located on Hickson Road. A number of spaces are available for wheelchairs within the Wharf 1 theatre. There is an accessible toilet located at the northern end of The Wharf. Should mobility assistance of any kind be required, simply advise the STC Box Office prior to visiting. One of the Front of House staff will be organised to assist you with any special requirements.
Sydney Theatre lift is located at the end of the disabled ramp on the ground level of Pier 4/5, and the lift allows access to the level 2 walkway (Wharf 1) and the level 3 mezzanine (Wharf 2). An integrated infrared hearing assistance system in Wharf 1 aims to assist patrons with impaired hearing. To use this facility, patrons are also requested to notify the STC Box Office prior to visiting, as special seats are required.

Public Transport
Circular Quay railway station, bus and ferry terminus is the closest public transport hub. Wharf 1 is a brief 15 minute walk from Circular Quay. Sydney buses operate two bus routes - 431 and 433 - which stop at the top of George Street in Millers Point, a 5 minute walk to Wharf 1.
An evening bus service (Route 998) linking Hickson Road with Town Hall Station via Wynyard runs from 9pm to 4.30am every Friday and Saturday night. Buses run every 30 minutes and there is a bus stop outside The Wharf at Pier 4/5.

Car Parking
Metered parking is available along Hickson Road. Parking is for a maximum of 4 hours and cost $4.40 per hour before 6pm and $2.20 per hour between 6pm-10pm.
The nearest parking stations are at Interpark Bond Store One, 26 Hickson Road Walsh Bay and at Wilsons Parking Towns Place, on the corner of Towns Place and Hickson Road at Walsh Bay.
